The best of Northern (winter) life~

I went out on a family friends boat yesterday for an overnight trip- heading north. I read, cooked, baked, listened to the engine hum, watched the stars shine and hung out on some of the most homey boats in the area- all in good company! 

The night before I joined friends for a potluck. 

Tis good. Tis good. 

I'm so putting off organizing a trip south next week. Had been planning on attending a wedding in Mali but due to political situations and travel advisories, I shouldn't be needing my passport anytime soon. 

Must organize nonetheless- pronto!
