Ok- I'm tired again, the same tiredness I felt in Amsterdam. City life caught up to me. Luckily today was a perfect day to catch up on rest. I hung out all morning and early afternoon at the hostel. Around 2 I was picked up by an old friend from Rupert who had recently moved down to the Island. I went with her and her kids shopping then out for a picnic dinner at the waterfront. It was so nice to see them again and I hope to once more before heading up to Port Hardy.

It's an early night for me- my first in a while. Doing laundry, relaxing, thinking of the upcoming days. Hope to see family now for the next few days! Tofino bound soon.
