I made it to Annecy!
I was tired and nervous to set off again, but love it here. The people are wonderful- I haven't seen Chloe in 5 years and Vincent since last summer! The town reminds me a bit of Jasper, Alberta. Perfect! Annecy is situated on a large lake so we're going to have a picnic and swim tonight. I couldn't ask for more.
